The FAFSA opens on October 1 of each year for the following aid year cycle:
Oct. 1, 2020: FAFSA opens for 2021-2022 cycle and will use 2019 tax information.

The FAFSA must be completed before your enrollment has ended for that cycle.

Students who are eligible to domicile in the United States, are classified as Texas residents (see Texas Residency FAQs below), who are ineligible to apply for federal financial aid using the FAFSA ，可以完成 Texas Application for State Financial Aid (TASFA). The TASFA application is used to determine eligibility for state-funded grant aid, which is the Texas Equalization Grant (TEG) up to $3,300 annually. Financial aid cannot be increased to cover additional costs such as:
